dc.description.resumoEsta tese se volta para o estudo da metaficção historiográfica em narrativas juvenis brasileiras contemporâneas. A escolha do nosso tema (metaficção historiográfica) e objeto de investigação (narrativas juvenis) levou em consideração o crescimento e a importância da literatura juvenil (LJ) no cenário atual, a qual tem atraído um número cada vez maior de estudos acadêmicos, assim como a recorrência do emprego de recursos metaficcionais na literatura de maneira geral e a presença da metaficção historiográfica entre as narrativas publicadas no período compreendido como Pós-modernidade (HUTCHEON, 1991). Assim, nosso objetivo geral de pesquisa foi verificar a ocorrência da metaficcção historiográfica em narrativas juvenis contemporâneas brasileiras, considerando as especificidades do gênero LJ. Como objetivos específicos, tivemos: identificar como se configura a metaficção historiográfica nas narrativas juvenis; apontar os aspectos da metaficção historiográfica que mais se evidenciam nas obras analisadas; e avaliar como esse tipo de ficção pode ampliar o potencial formativo da obra juvenil. A pesquisa, de cunho bibliográfico e análise qualitativa, observou os seguintes procedimentos: 1) revisão bibliográfica pertinente à investigação; 2) seleção de um conjunto de narrativas juvenis produzidas durante o período abrangido pela pesquisa, obedecendo a critérios pré-estabelecidos; 3) estudo dos textos selecionados, identificando os aspectos da metaficção historiográfica mais recorrentes e sua relação com as especificidades do gênero LJ. A fim de melhor delimitar o corpus da pesquisa, selecionamos um conjunto de seis narrativas pertencentes à LJ brasileira como representativas do fenômeno investigado, as quais foram publicadas nas primeiras décadas do século XXI, estabelecendo o ano de 2017 como limite para nossa seleção. A presente pesquisa vem no sentido de dar continuidade e complementar as contribuições feitas por outros pesquisadores da área, ampliando esse olhar investigativo ao discorrer sobre textos que abarcam, em seu fazer ficcional, o fenômeno pós-moderno compreendido como metaficção historiográfica. As conclusões do estudo apontam para uma profícua união entre as características próprios da narrativa juvenil (elementos formativos) e recursos da metaficção historiográfica (intertextualidade, metaficcionalidade, recursos paródicos, releitura da narrativa histórica) no interior das obras em análise, elementos esses capazes de contribuir significativamente com os leitores em processo formativo.por
dc.description.abstractThis dissertation focuses on the study of historiographic metafiction in contemporary Brazilian juvenile narratives. The choice of our theme (historiographic metafiction) and research object (juvenile narrative) took into consideration the growth and importance of juvenile literature (JL) in the current scenario which has attracted an increased number of academic studies as well as the recurrence of the use of metafictional resources in the literature in general and the presence of historiographic metafiction in the narratives published in the period understood as Postmodernity (HUTCHEON, 1991). Therefore, our general research objective was to verify the occurrence of historiographic metafiction in contemporary Brazilian juvenile narratives, considering the specificities of the JL genre. The specific objectives were: to identify how the historiographic metafiction appears in the juvenile narratives; point out the aspects of historiographic metafiction that are most evident in the analysed books; and evaluate how this type of fiction may expand the formative potential of the juvenile literature. The research, of a bibliographic nature and qualitative analysis, observed the following procedures: 1) bibliographic review pertinent to the investigation; 2) selection of a group of juvenile narratives produced in the period covered by the research, according to the pre-established criteria; 3) study of the selected texts, identifying the most recurrent aspects of the historiographic metafiction and their relationship with the JL genre’s specificities. In order to make a better delimitation of the research corpus, we selected a group of six narratives of the Brazilian JL as representative of the investigated phenomenon which were published in the first decades of the 21st century, establishing 2017 as the cutoff year of this selection. The present investigation intends to continue and complement the contributions made by other researchers in the field, expanding this investigative view when discussing juvenile narratives that encompass, in their fictional work, the postmodern phenomenon understood as historiographic metafiction.
